We’re putting together a West Midlands Road Racing Convoy Driver Register for people who’d like to get involved with races across the region, including our Thursday night SSSCCRRL events.
Convoy driving is an important part of making road racing happen, but it’s also a really enjoyable way to get involved. You’re right in the middle of the race, working alongside organisers, commissaires, marshals and other drivers, and it’s a great way to become part of the wider road racing community.
We also run driver development sessions for anyone who wants to build experience, understand how the convoy works and get more confident in the role. They’re relaxed, practical and a good chance to meet people who are already involved.
You don’t need to have loads of experience. If you’re interested, curious, or just fancy helping out and being part of it, we’d love to hear from you.
